A little about the Seaham sea glass we've collected and used in this piece-
Seaham is now world famous for its unique sea glass. From the mid 19th century to the early 20th century a bottle and glassworks existed there. Much of their waste glass was dumped over the cliffs into the sea. For over 100 years, the glass has been sculpted and washed by time and tide and cast back up upon the shores of the beach where it is now gathered. Because much of the waste glass had not been formed into anything, some of the resulting sea glass is to be found in large bubbles and rare solid or variegated colours.

Artisan Hand-
This stunning choker necklace is a real treasure trove! At its centre is a magnificent, indigo blue, antique, Bohemian glass trade bead with a luscious glow and aged sheen that can only come from generations of wear.
Either side of the blue bead sit two solid silver, ancient British beads which date from Roman times and are probably Celtic. To each side of them are two absolutely scrumptious, genuine, Tahitian black pearls.
